I work as a Lead Product Owner at Layer 6, where we deploy the latest developments in machine learning toward real-world applications in financial services. I also contribute to research projects involving user research.

I was formerly a postdoctoral fellow at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, where found ways to experiment on machine learning algorithms using methods from cognitive psychology. I applied these methods to challenges in explainability.

I have also worked as a management consultant at BEworks, where I used the scientific method and insights from behavioural economics to design experiments and inform solutions to real-world problems. Before that, I used to conduct research as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto and the Brain and Mind Institute at Western.

In the past, I also organized the workshop for Object Perception, Attention, and Memory at the annual meeting of the Psychonomics Society, where we highlight outstanding research by graduate and post-doctoral researchers in visual cognition. Check us out here.
